Quality Wildlife is a company specializing in forest and wildlife habitat management and enhancement. We provide consulting services to landowners, commercial foresters, federal, state, and municipal agencies; private organizations and, of course, individual landowners s looking to maximize the wildlife-producing potential of their property.

Quality Wildlife specializes in enhancing property for deer, turkeys, grouse, woodcock, and non-game species.

Owner and Certified Wildlife Biologist Bob Humphrey has an extensive background in wildlife management, botany, wetland and soil science, environmental regulation, natural resource management, and land-use planning. He works closely with clients to develop customized management activities that best fit both the owner’s objectives and the property’s potential.

Representative Projects

Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife - Identification and mapping of Significant Wildlife Habitat, including deer wintering areas, wetlands, and water-fowl and wading bird habitat in 40 towns in southern and central Maine.

Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife - Developed draft procedures for identifying and evaluating Significant Wildlife Habitats including shorebird roosting and feeding areas and some endangered species habitats.

Diamond Occidental - Prepared integrated wildlife and forest management plan for 700-acre forest in Old Town.

Chandler River Wildlife Management Area - Conducting ongoing research and management on wildlife habitat techniques.

Trustees of Reservations - Crane Reservation - Assisted with and participated in controlled deer hunt.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - Parker River National Wildlife Refuge - Collected data and assisted in preparing a controlled deer hunt.

Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve - Assisted with and participated in controlled deer hunt.
